My Journey so far…
I’ve always believed that great storytelling changes how people see themselves and others. Everything I do is built around that.
About Me
I spent fourteen years as a television and film executive — as Head of Development and Executive Producer at Brock Media, and across development and commissioning departments at ITV, Big Talk, and CPL Productions — developing scripted projects for broadcasters and streamers including the BBC, Netflix, ITV, and HBO.
But the part I was always most drawn to wasn’t just producing—it was development. The early conversations where a story starts to take shape. Working with writers to find the real heart of an idea. Helping something unclear become something undeniable. That’s where the work came alive for me.
Over time, I also saw a pattern I couldn’t ignore: hugely talented writers and creatives holding themselves back—not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked the right support, challenge, and perspective. Someone who understood both the craft and the industry, and could help them move with more clarity and confidence.
That stayed with me.
What I do now
In 2025, I trained as a coach—bringing together my industry experience with a deeper focus on transformation, mindset, and momentum.
Now I coach and mentor writers, producers, and creatives who are ready for more: more clarity, more traction, and more belief in what they’re capable of building. People with real talent and real ambition, who are ready to stop circling and start moving.
At Brock Media, I worked with BAFTA-nominated and BIFA-winning writers including Emma Jane Unsworth (Animals), Selina Lim (Sex Education), and Harry Trevaldwyn (How to Train Your Dragon), and brokered a development partnership with BBC Studios. Earlier, as a storyliner on Coronation Street, I contributed to two consecutive BAFTA wins and an RTS Award nomination, working to broadcast deadlines in front of 7.5 million viewers. That’s the industry insight I bring to coaching — alongside a practice that works on the whole person, not just the work.
It’s practical, direct, and deeply focused on movement.
Clients often describe the process as both grounding and energising: a space where thinking gets clearer, decisions get sharper, and action becomes inevitable. The shift is usually subtle at first—but it changes everything: less hesitation, more direction, and a stronger sense of ownership over their work and career.
My approach
I don’t believe in vague encouragement or surface-level advice.
I combine honest, thoughtful challenge with a strong instinct for people and potential—helping you see what’s actually there, what’s getting in the way, and what needs to shift to move forward.
Expect clarity. Expect directness. Expect momentum.
Training & credentials
I take my practice seriously. I hold a Diploma in Transformative Coaching from Animas and am triple accredited by the ICF, EMCC, and AC. I also hold a Firework Career Change coaching licence, supporting clients through significant professional transitions using an evidence-based framework.
I maintain regular supervision, am fully insured, and adhere to the ICF code of ethics and core competencies.
I’m based between London and Manchester and work with clients in person and online.
Work with me
If you’re a writer, producer, or creative who knows there’s more in you than your current trajectory reflects, the first step is a free discovery call.
No pressure. No pitch. Just a focused conversation about where you are, what’s not moving, and what might change if it did.
