I am a highly experienced Executive Producer with a proven track record of developing and driving successful projects from concept to commission. After many years in the TV and Film industry — developing projects, working with top-tier talent, and navigating the ever-shifting demands of broadcasters and streamers — I’m channeling that experience into a new venture: coaching and mentoring writers with a sharp focus on storylining and development.
In my most recent role as Head of Development at Brock Media (The Outrun, starring Saoirse Ronan), I was spearheading the company’s expansion into television and growing an ambitious eclectic slate and securing script commissions with the BBC, ITV, NETFLIX and HBO.
I had the privilege of working with some of the UK’s most exceptional writers and showrunners, including BAFTA-nominated and BIFA winning Emma Jane Unsworth (Animals), Selina Lim (Sex Education), Harry Trevaldwyn (How To Train Your Dragon), Jamie Carragher (Story Editor/writer Succession).
Over the years, one thing kept jumping out at me: so many brilliant writers don’t always have the tools to storyline. Not just plot — but the deeper craft of structure, escalation, and emotional payoff. That gap lit a fire in me. I became obsessed with helping writers not only bring their vision to life, but push it further — to sharpen the arc, raise the stakes, and make the story sing. Because the idea is only the beginning — it’s how you build it that makes it undeniable.
If you or your production company want to work with me – I offer 1-1 sessions, full days of development mapping and workshops in London and Manchester. I also run Writers Rooms’ across the UK. Again, drop me a line if you are interested.
