I’m a highly experienced Executive Producer and seasoned television and film creative with over fourteen years’ experience developing and producing scripted projects for the BBC, Netflix, ITV, and HBO. I have a proven track record of taking projects from concept to commission, working with top-tier talent, and navigating the ever-shifting demands of broadcasters and streamers. I now channel that experience into coaching and mentoring writers, with a sharp focus on storylining and development.

As former Head of Development and Executive Producer at Brock Media (The Outrun, starring Saoirse Ronan), I led the company’s expansion into television, growing an ambitious slate of original dramas, securing script commissions, and forging a key partnership with BBC Studios. During that time, I had the privilege of working with some of the UK’s most exceptional writers and showrunners, including BAFTA-nominated and BIFA-winning Emma Jane Unsworth (Animals), Selina Lim (Sex Education), Harry Trevaldwyn (How To Train Your Dragon), and Jamie Carragher (Story Editor & Writer, Succession).

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Script Editor, Script Executive, Story Producer, and Development Producer across series including Cold Feet, Brief Encounters, and Coronation Street, and held development roles at ITV Drama Commissioning, Big Talk, and CPL Productions.

Across all these experiences, one thing became clear: brilliant writers don’t always have the tools to truly storyline — not just plot, but the deeper craft of structure, escalation, emotional payoff, and character journey. That realisation lit a fire in me. I became deeply invested in helping writers bring their ideas to life — and push them further. To sharpen the arc, raise the stakes, deepen the emotion, and make the story undeniable. Because the idea is only the beginning — it’s how you build it that makes it unforgettable.

I now run regular TV and film writing courses, workshops, and mentoring programmes, creating a supportive, insightful, and creatively rigorous space for writers to develop bold, character-led stories for television and film.
